PHILLIPS School Ribbon Cutting Spotlights Major Donation from 28 Firms
Mid-Atlantic asphalt and concrete paving experts, Pro-Pave, Inc., will participate in a Sept. 26 ribbon cutting ceremony at the PHILLIPS School in Annandale, Va., in honor of a major paving project donated by the Heavy Construction Contractor’s Association (HCCA).
The project, valued at $150,000, was part of HCCA’s annual Pave It Forward! charitable giving program. A total of 28 companies donated materials and more than 800 hours to repair the site’s aging entrance and drives.
Pro-Pave, Inc. provided asphalt milling services, which involved hauling more than 350 tons of existing driveway and a broken down bus circle to disposal sites.
